Shh!

Despite what they want you to believe, it appears that it may actually be unhealthy for women to babble on incessantly about their daily woes and trivial tribulations, as they are often wont to do. For more information, please read the short article by Bryan C. Daniels: "Girls who complain about their problems at greater risk of developing anxiety and depression."

Women, for your health, for your sanity, for your own good (and the good of mankind), please shut up already!

It seems the problem with venting in girls is repettition of the same issues, not to merely think upon them. I'm damned certain while guys might not express verbally their issues, they most certainly dwell on specific thoughts. It's not sharing problems that is leading to this, but dwelling on their own issues through shared experiences with other upset persons of the same sex.
It would be interesting to see this study developed more through defining and variances in controls of experimentation.
